Healing trauma with EMDR therapy throughout the state of Oklahoma

A safe space to explore the world free from the sharpness of your past experiences and memories.

Your world feels like it is shattering, and it has happened before. You have picked yourself up, dusted yourself off and survived countless times before today - yet you can't seem to catch a break.

History doesn't have to continue to repeat itself.

Hi, I'm Kat, and I can help.

Kat Smith | Trauma Therapist | Edmond | OKC | Online

I believe that underneath present struggle often lies pain of the past.

I provide proactive therapy for healing complex trauma (C-PTSD), anxiety and depression using a nurturing, rapport focused approach and EMDR when appropriate. My clients walk away from therapy with me feeling as if they are valuable and hold their own power. They realize that the key to healing and the discovery of meaning behind the pain they have endured is found through the development of insight.

Through this journey, clients grasp their self-worth and begin to live their lives without the constant barrage of “what-ifs” and “whys”.

"I am not what has happened to me, I am what I choose to become."
